Privee means "privacy" in French. We think that every changing room should be private, but a fitting room may not be. You may need to have a tailor doing a fitting of your garment. - Is there any difference in the names: changing rooms, fitting rooms or dressing rooms?
No, just different people and companies use different terminology. - Who is Tanwall and what do they manufacture?
TanWall, like Privee, is an Allied Modular company. TanWall manufactures modular walls specifically for the tanning industry.Privee manufactures strictly dressing rooms and fitting rooms for retail applications. - Who is Allied Modular Building Systems, what do they manufacture?
Allied Modular is the parent company of Privee. Allied Modular manufactures buildings for commercial and industrial applications. Products range from interior single and two-story offices to guardhouses and cleanrooms. They have been in business for more than 20 years - How do we know we are purchasing from a well know manufacturer of dressing rooms and fitting rooms?

Yes, we design fitting rooms and changing rooms to fit in the space that you have for dressing rooms and fitiing rooms. We can design these rooms in any configuration. - Can I reuse these dressing rooms or changing rooms if I move or relocate?
Absolutely. The flexibility of the Privee systems is one of its primary benefits. We keep all drawings on file forever. Contact us is you need to have another copy or help with the redesign or relocation. - Are these changing rooms, fitting rooms considered to be green or environmentally friendly?
Yes, since they are reusable, custom made-to-order, prefabricated, and made with partially recycled materials. - Do you offer field installation services?

Yes, a drawing that is specifically for your dressing room or fitting room. It will be sent to you along with our general installation instructions. - Are these dressing rooms and fitting room drawings proprietary, can I get drawings from you and use them for other purposes?
All of the drawings that we produce are the property of Privee, Tanwall or Allied Modular. They can not be used for any other purpose without the expressed written concent. - Can you help me with color schemes and design my changing rooms?
We have a design staff available to help you custom-design your dressing rooms and fitting rooms to meet you space or room needs. - Can you provide room numbers for my changing room or fitting room?
We offer a full line of accessories, including room numbers. These can be applied with double sided tape or screws. - Can you create angles for my fitting room or dressing room?
Sure, not a problem. Angles are very stylish and break up the basic look of straight hallways. Wecan either provide 45 degree or 90 degree angles

- Can I hang merchandise to the walls?
Yes. If you need support or hang merchandise on our wall system, we can design any dressing room or fitting room to accommodate the mounting of any items such as cabinets and other items. You may want to consider using a slatwall designed right into the walls. This way you can use garment hooks, waterfalls or any other accessories. - Can I hang mirrors and hooks to the walls?
Yes. Mirrors and hooks up to 20 pounds can be hung on our standard Privee systems. We can also accommodate heavier accessories; If you need to add additional weight to the walls, we can design any fitting room or dresssing room with proper support or backing. - Can I hang a flat screen or digital media on the walls of my dressing room or fitting room?
Sure, just let us know where you would like these to be placed, so we can engineer the proper support. - Where would I run any power or cabling in these walls?

Absolutely, that is one of our best features. all of our dressing rooms and fitting rooms can can attach to existing walls. Our rooms can be completely freestanding, or even be a combination of both. - How are the walls fastened together?
Our walls are secured together by our framing system using TEK type self tapping screws. - Do the walls meet the 5 lb per sq ft load required by code?
Yes, all walls are required to have a 5 pound per square foot load. This is for people leaning up againstthe walls to insure they do not fall over. - What is the standard height, and can I get them a custom height?
Standard wall height is 8', but we also offer an upgrade to a 10' or 12' wall. We can olso make your fitting room or changing room custom heights. - What color are the walls for a dressing room or a fitting room available in?
We have a large selection of colors, please see the colors page. We can also supply custom vinyl colors for any large chain store orders so all of your rooms can include your style and colors. - What surface is on the walls?
The surfaces come in many different facings. Our standard facing is a commercial vinyl. However we can also make them Steel, Aluminum, Composites and plastic laminates. - What if I need seismic engineering for these walls, do you offer that?
Yes. We can provide pricing for the architectural drawings and structural calculations for your dressing rooms and fitting rooms. All engineering is stamped by a licensed engineer. We have the ability to provide these engineered stamped drawings in all 50 states. - If I move locations, can I reconfigure my walls to meet new dimension requirements?
Sure, we keep all of the designs and drawings on file to help you at anytime in the future. We can maximize the use of all parts and redesign your dressing room or fitting room - Can I add electrical to the walls, such as outlets and light switches?
You can. Just let us know where you would like the electrical placed in your dressing room or fitting room and we will make sure our UL listed raceway channels are included in your proposal to accommodate your electrical needs. - Can I add sconce lighting to the walls?
Yes. We can help you design your dressing room or fitting rooms with sconce lighting to add a great amiance to your rooms. Just let us know where you would like the sconce lighting placed and we will make sure our UL listed Raceways are strategically placed for you to mount your sconce to and run the electrical inside. - How long does it take to get the fitting room or dressing room walls after I order?
Our Normal lead time for dressing rooms and fitting rooms is approximately 3-4 weeks after you have approved the design. Although in some circumstances, it can be much quicker depending ofn he color or design you choose.

- Can I use curtains instead to doors?
Yes, we can provide a framed doorway and a curtain rod. You provide the curtains. - What type of doors do you offer?
We offer several different door styles. Our most popular are our 2-panel and flush hollow core doors. They come in either 30" or 36" in width by 6 feet 8 inches in height. We can also make custom doors to fit any size. - Can I get custom doors?
Yes, We can design a solution for your fitting room or dressing room. Just let us know what your looking for and our design team can provide some options for you. - What kind of knobs or doors handles come with the rooms?
Dressing room and fitting room doors can be equipped with Lever passage, Lever Privacy, or Lever locking. Also they can be installed with Commercial Indicator Deadbolt which skows when a room is In use or Vacant - Do you offer painting of the doors?
Yes. We can paint your doors whatever color you like. - Can I get custom laminate applied to the walls?
We laminate any plastic laminate colors on your dressing room or fitting room. We can use Pionite, Lamitech, Wilson art or any other manufacturer. A minimum order may be required. - What types of hinges are used on the doors?
We use standard hinges on all our dressing rooms and fitting rooms. They are 3-1/2" hinges for our 1-3/8" doors and 4" hinges for our 1-3/4" think doors - Is a door stop included with the doors to protect the wall from damage?
Yes, when we design your dressing rooms and fitting rooms, we can include door stops to insure that the walls are not damaged by the door knob or lever. - Can I just get a framed opening instead of a door?
Yes, we can provide a framed opening for any fitting room or changing room. You may want to add a curtain rod and a curtain so there would not be a swinging door.

Yes our dressing rooms and fitting rooms attach to the floor using concrete anchors (If its concrete), or lag screw (if wood) through our floor track or channel. - Is the framing availible in any color?
Our standard framing finish is satin aluminum. You can upgrade to one of our standard powder coat colors or we can custom color match your framing in any custom color to match your store colors. - Do you offer benches for these rooms?
Yes, we offer dressing foor, fitting room benches. We can provide ADA compliant benches, and even custom colors. There are specific size requirments for ADA benches, but you can put a chair, autuman, or any bench in a non ADA room.

- Does Privee offer a manufactures warranty on dressing rooms or fitting rooms?
Privee systems come with a 10 year warranty. If we install your rooms, we offer a 1 year warranty on labor. - What are the normal payment terms for these dressing rooms or fitting rooms?
Our typical credit terms are 50% down payment, with the remainder due before shipping - Where will these changing rooms or fitting rooms be shipping from?
We have two manufacturing facilities. We have one manufacturing plant in Orange, California, and in Nashville, Tennessee. We will ship them from the closest manufacturing location to you. - Can you ship these fitting rooms or dressing rooms to other countries, such as Canada, Mexico or Europe?
We can ship this product any where in the world. We have currently shipped this product to 17 countries and counting. - If we ship out of the country, can you help us fill out and NAFTA paperwork for export?
We can fill out all necessary NAFTA paperwork. We never include Tarifs, Taxes or customs fees. Customers already have an agent of record to import other products, and our would not be any different. - How do you charge for freight on dressing rooms and fitting rooms?
We charge by weight of materials and distance to delivery zip code location. If you choose our freight option, we will provide worry free freight. That means that we will be responsible for all freight claims associated with freight damage. Some rules to apply, such as the damage must be noted on the delivery receipt. - What if there is freight damage?
If you choose our freight option for your dressing room or fitting room, we will file the claim on your behalf, and send out the new parts. You must have signed the delivery receipt damaged for us to be able to file a claim. If you used your own freight carrier, you would have to file the claim and purchase any damaged parts. - Is Sales tax included on our quote for these fitting rooms or changing rooms?
Sales tax is never included in the subtotal on the proposal, however, applicable sales tax will be included on your invoice.
